Acclaimed DMV actors perform a staged reading of a new play by Kevin O’Connell about a wild meeting in the Trump White House in December 2020. The play is taken verbatim from accounts given to the January 6th Committee by meeting participants. The playwright, actors, and producers are donating their time. Gross proceeds from this event, minus a small payment platform fee, will be donated to Democracy Forward, "a national legal organization that advances democracy and social progress through litigation, policy and public education, and regulatory engagement."
The cast features five-time Helen Hayes Award-winning actor Rick Foucheux as Rudy Giuiliani and Helen Hayes Award nominees Tonya Beckman as Sidney Powell, DeJeanette Horne as White House lawyer Eric Herschmann, and Dylan Morrison Myers as Patrick Byrne, the overstock.com guy.
