• Arrive in Havana, Cuba. Transfer to your accommodation place. Check-in and settle in.

Day 2. Sunday, January 28th, 2024
• After breakfast, enjoy jazz program options at one of its 5 venues around all Havana from 9 am with
specialized workshops, to concerts and Jam sessions starting at 2pm until 11pm and more.
• Lunch at a local private paladar.
• Free time to enjoy jazz.
• Dinner time at Cuban paladar.

Day 3. Monday, January 29th, 2024

• After breakfast, walking tour of Old Havana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit to its main
squares: Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza de Armas, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de San Francisco de Asís.
• Visit to the National Museum of Music, dedicated to the preservation of the city’s rich musical heritage. This museum houses a vast collection of Cuban musical instruments, ranging from folkloric instruments to a
large collection of early Cuban jazz instruments and the ones used in popular music.
• Lunch at a local private paladar.
• After lunch, Rest of the afternoon FREE. Places to visit – suggestions in Old Havana -. At 2:45PM is set last
visiting hour of the Capitol building in Havana. Visit the Capitolio Nacional (National Capitol of Cuba) is one of the most emblematic buildings in Havana. This majestic construction, located in the Centro Habana, is like that in Washington D.C, but a meter higher, a meter wider, and a meter longer, as well as much richer in detail. Visit to Habana del Este city area and enjoy rest of the day.

Day 4. Tuesday, January 30th, 2024
• After breakfast, visit to Finca Vista Hermosa, found a few kilometers east of the city’s main cultural and
historical center. This is an agroecological farm that produces vegetables, milk, cheese, and meat
according to the principles of social and environmental sustainability.
• Enjoy the place and delight your palate with a farm to table lunch.
• Back to Havana.
• After lunch, visit to Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Company. Created in 1991, by Teacher Lizt Alfonso, it is one
of the most popular companies/schools in Cuba. Her impressive artistic endorsement has led her to perform at City Center and the New Victory Theater (New York), the Shanghai Oriental Art Center; the Oude Luxor Theater (Rotterdam, Netherlands), the Thalia Theater (Hamburg, Germany) and the Cairo Opera among other important venues in the world.

Day 5. Wednesday, January 31st, 2024
• After breakfast. Visit to Casa de las Americas; a Cuban Institution promoting Latin American and Caribbean Arts and Culture as well as research, supports, awards, and publishes the works of writers, sculptures, musicians and other artists or students of literature and the Arts. Annual programs include talks, workshops, and prizes for literature as well as painting, photography, musicology, and engravings. This isn’t only an Art Gallery, it’s also a Latin American Cultural Hotspot. Enjoy special talk program featuring important personalities among other friends.

• After lunch, Visit to the Casa de África Museum. This institution has the mission of educating the Cuban people in the history, culture, and art of that continent. This is an essential visit to delve into the topic of African culture in Cuba.

Day 6. Thursday, February 1st, 2024
• After breakfast get ready for Commemorative unveiling act of Langston Hughes statue in Havana. In July 2022, a plaque was placed at UNEAC to evoke good friendship between Langston Hughes and Nicolas Guillén; as great poets, loved literature and were proud people fighting for better relationships between Blacks and whites: Hughes in the United States and Guillen in Cuba. At UNEAC, Interviews with Cuban Media specialized in cultural news.
• Lunch at a local private paladar.
• Rest of afternoon FREE. Places to visit – suggestions in Old Havana -. Birth house of national hero and poet José Martí, born on 28 January 1853. You can visit a permanent exhibition about the events that shaped his personal and political life in this beautiful, restored house.
Take the bus and visit National Library of Cuba. The National Library is the depository of the country’s documentary, bibliographic, artistic, and sound heritage treasure, as well as the most representative of universal culture. In addition, she is rector of the National System of Cuban Public Libraries, which with more than 411 libraries covers the entire national territory to preserve the bibliographic and historical heritage. Among the main attractions of the library is its Gallery “El reino de este mundo”, whose name pays tribute to one of the greatest writers of Cuba and Latin America: Alejo Carpentier. The works of many of the most important Cuban visual creators have been exhibited in its spacious spaces, while it serves as the venue for many of the country’s main cultural events.

Day 7. Friday, February 2nd, 2024
• After breakfast, visit Centro Fidel Castro Ruz; the Centro’s rooms are dedicated to the achievements of the
Cuban Revolution, the details of Fidel’s life, and the military victories of the long struggle that finally liberated Cuba from foreign imperialism and the Batista dictatorship in 1959. There are special areas for children of all ages, and high-tech presentations that any youthful gamer will appreciate. The Centro is also a library and research institution, with a roster of scholars studying aspects of Cuban history and society. Fidel Castro donated all the gifts that he received from world leaders over the years to museums and other public venues in Cuba.
Alternative Visit option (For those who already visited Centro Fidel Castro in previous visits). -. the Denunciation Memorial the Former Museum of the Ministry of the Interior was remodeled in 2017 to form this far more interesting look at US actions against Cuba in the last 60 years. The entrance stairway is covered with more than 3000 crosses, denoting people killed in skirmishes involving the US or other foreign powers since 1959, from the Bay of Pigs to the 1976 bomb aboard Cubana flight 455.
