A Busboys and Poets in-house series LIVE! from Busboys is an open mic talent showcase that offers a platform for all performers, not just poets. Whether you are a musician, comedian, dancer, actor, magician or any other type of performer, we want to see what you got! Come out and showcase your talents!

Tonight's LIVE! from Busboys is hosted by: "AJ" Head

AJ Head is a singer/songwriter/musician originally from Detroit, MI. A skillful guitarist with a strong, sweet, soul-stirring voice, A.J. has gained the attention and praise of those who admire inspiring talent. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Ethnomusicology (the study of culture through the context of music), A.J. frequently performs at venues up and down the East Coast.

Featuring: Horns and Harmony

Horns & Harmony is a combination of silky-soul vocalist, Isaac Geralds and Saxophonist, Shola Iyiola. The dynamic-duo joined forces in 2019 to birth Horns & Harmony and have been performing in and around Washington D.C., Maryland and the Virginia region. They are currently working on recording a new project set to be released in Summer 2020. With the success of their first show during Christmas 2019 (sold out), and their second show for valentines (also sold out) these two are "pulling out all the stops" to ensure a quality and lasting experience.

$5 cover. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased online starting at midnight and in the restaurant starting at 10:00 AM (cash only). No refunds. Ticket purchase limit of 4 per person. Tickets will be sold at the door if available. Guests must have their wristbands (tickets) on upon entering the event.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-seated basis. No saved or reserved seats are allowed. Failure to check-in within 30 minutes of advertised start time may result in a forfeiture of seats.
