Since the age of 4, Slli’m has expressed himself through the arts. From the visual, to the written, to the spoken, Slli’m has always been an equal opportunity “heartist”. In 2004, he took to the stage, and began performing throughout the United States. As a performer, Slli’m has enjoyed the good fortune of sharing the venues with some the most dynamic wordsmiths in the genre. As a host, he has helped bring those talented artists to his loyal supporters. Over the years, Slli’m has delivered performances in slams, showcases, festivals, workshops and the National Underground Spoken Word and Poetry Awards, resulting in 4 NUSPA nominations. When you watch him, it’s easy to see that Slli’m loves hosting as much as performing. With Slli’m Williams, there is a constant effort to create a welcoming environment, spread positive vibes and bring fun to those around him.
