Hosted By: Carolyn Malachi

FEATURING: RHADA X RILEY
Radha X Riley is a multi-media artist whose work spans from spoken word and written prose, to philosophy and astrological readings, to visual art and instructional videos. They center the Black Trans experience in all of their work and hope to create a platform for QTBIPOC to tell their stories on their own terms. Their work has been published in Beltway Quarterly, and they are currently working on their first printed collection of poetry. A regular at Spit Dat, DC’s longest running open mic, they have featured at Washington Performing Art’s District Vox, as well as the Congress Heights Arts and Cultural Center for Art All Night. They are currently the winner of TribeFestDC’s Tribe Tuesday Showcase. It is their hope that their art will not only bolster their own wellbeing, but that of their community and loved ones as well.
