Stoked: A Queer Open Mic debuted at Busboys and Poets after the previous queer series, Sparkle ended in 2017. It is the vision of poets C Thomas & Regie Cabico to bring to life and light the ever-expanding identity of race, sexual identity and gender. The series features musical, literary & multidisciplinary genres that "go in" the very depth of struggle finding hope, laughter and solace during these uncertain politically charged and toxic times. Regie Cabico's anthology, Super Stoked, is the inspiration by poet activist, C Thomas to create the space for Queer People of Color, thus forming an intergenerational bond by two beloved Busboys and Poets open mic hosts holding their various communities together.

Tickets at the Door are cash only - $5
