Food Equity in DC - A Yale Community Impact Panel. DC is a growing urban area, but over 10% of local residents still live in food deserts, far from the nearest grocery store. How can we ensure equal access to healthy food for all Washingtonians? Join local policymakers and community advocates for networking and a panel discussion on the DC Grocery Gap. If you're inspired to act after learning more, we'll connect you with local organizations looking for short- and long-term volunteers to help bring food equity to DC.
