The Black Thought Collective is a scholarly writing group in the DMV that supports intersectional work. We meet on a monthly basis to exchange, incubate, and cultivate ideas. Our work seeks to have a local and global impact. We explore issues of race and justice including, but not limited to, spatial justice and gentrification, violence against women and girls, education reform, economic inequality, and the history of freedom movements and the cultivation of them in the present.
