For too long, the religious right has sought to drown out the voices of Americans who revere the separation of church and state and who believe that the greatness of America lies in our ability to protect the rights of all—regardless of what you believe, where you come from or who you love. Today, more than ever—as our courts and government contest the meaning of religious freedom—we must lift up the voices of those who believe in both freedom of and freedom from religion.
