Description:

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming event, where we will pay tribute to the land of Palestine and the many gifts it offers.

Growing Palestine will offer a full program filled with ancestral knowledge that comes from the land. The commemoration of Land Day will include a journey that explores culture, tradition and the gifts the land offers. Most importantly, the event will highlight the deep attachment and connection that Palestinians have developed through centuries.

We will share food traditions, ancestral knowledge, and poetry committed to the land theme. A short skit will be presented which will magnify the ambiance, songs and lifestyle of the Palestinian farmer, his steadfastness and connection to his land.

At the Land Day event, the audience will hear from farmers on the ground and GP will introduce one of the oldest grafting artists in Palestine, a 90 year old Palestinian woman, who continues to graft and teach to this day.
