Join us for a free fun and inspiring children’s author event with local Washington, DC author W.B. Dale, creator of Bennie's Filter
Join us at Busboys and Poets for a fun and inspiring children’s author event with local Washington, DC author W.B. Dale, creator of the Shades of Bennie book series. During this special storytime, former actor in Hollywood films, W.B. Dale will read from the first book in the series, Bennie’s Filter, introducing young readers to Bennie’s imaginative world while exploring themes of perspective, kindness, and curiosity.
After the reading, children will have the chance to participate in an engaging and thought-provoking Q&A with the author, where they can ask questions about Bennie, storytelling, and how books are made. Young audience members will also have the opportunity to win special prizes during the discussion!
This interactive event is designed especially for children ages 4–10, making it a perfect weekend activity for families who love stories, creativity, and community.
