Description:

As we commemorate the 250 anniversary of our nation, let us also celebrate the rich and diverse stories that make this nation great. Through our stories we will gain an understanding of each other and enable everyone to have a voice and make a difference for all people.

Come join us at Busboys and Poets to share your story with Alysia Dempsey, author and creator of the What is your story? Mandala. What is your story? is an empowering exercise enabling participants of all ages, race, gender and cultures to share their story and discover that of others. Guest will share their unique attributes on a personal story mandala and learn how they can make a positive impact and difference in our world with their story.

Let’s celebrate the rich and diverse stories that make up the fabric of our nation. Your story matters.
