Before the 5th Annual Spoken Word to Go Go competition, this open mic is your chance to practice and test your spoken word to go-go performance ahead of Round 1, using selected tracks by The Experience Band & Show.

Spoken Word to Go Go (SWGG) is an annual competition of spoken word artists who write original spoken word poetry to a selected custom track created by The Experience Band & Show and perform it live in front of a panel of selected judges.
WHAT IS THE WINNING PRIZE?
The SWGG Champion gains the 2026 SWGG Championship title, the Crystal Mic Trophy, a recording session with The Experience Band & Show and a $2,500 cash prize!
