Join us for a Free Thanksgiving Lunch!
On Thursday, November 27, 2025, Busboys and Poets–Anacostia will welcome the community for a free sit-down Thanksgiving lunch. Everyone is invited, including those who are unhoused, to enjoy a delicious multi-course meal featuring our signature Fried Chicken entree and dessert, lovingly prepared by our staff and community volunteers.
Come by starting at 11 AM to relax, enjoy a full meal, good music and connect with neighbors and friends.
This Thanksgiving is all about coming together, sharing good food, and celebrating the strength and spirit of our community. Busboys and Poets owner Andy Shallal and the Busboys and Poets Anacostia team are excited to continue this annual tradition.
