We’re gathering on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 6pm with progressive leaders to speak on the demands and opportunities of the current moment, build connections within the movement, and help us make sure we have the resources needed to keep pushing for change.
Speakers include Representative Ro Khanna, RootsAction's co-founder Jeff Cohen, Friends Committee on National Legislation's Hassan El-Tayyab, Michael Greenberg of Climate Defiance, Phyllis Bennis of the Institute for Policy Studies, and RootsAction and Defuse Nuclear War's Hanieh Jodat and Emma Claire Foley.
This is a key moment for RootsAction and the anti-war movement overall: in the midst of Israel’s attack on Iran and violent assaults on immigrant communities and activists at home, we need strong organizations that are prepared to organize for the long term.
