Description:

From Bowser Act to Kennedy Center DC Responds! "Trump 1.0 was the resistance. Trump 2.0 is the acquiescence." - @politico #staywoke

Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? - #MLK

Join artists, activists and concerned citizens on how best to resist the fascist state and the neoliberal response.

Inspired by the We Fight Back 2025 Inauguration Protest at Malcolm X Park and the Anti-Inauguration Ball at the Black Cat we are here to say "We did not come to fear the future. We came here to shape it."

Since DC's international locale combines local, national and international issues, our panel will discuss:

  • deportations
  • DC Home rule
  • project 2025
  • foreign affairs, i.e., Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Ukraine, etc.,

Who owns our imagination in a world of existential dizziness where truth has become a shipwrecked refugee? #BlackHistoryMonth
