Join Busboys & Poets Books in welcoming the students of Anacostia back to school! This weekend, 8/19 - 8/20, Busboys & Poets Books will donate 10% of all bookstore profits to Anacostia High School to help with their backpack fund. So stop in for a bite, grab a book, and support a great cause!
About AHS: Anacostia High School currently serves students from the Ward 8 community. The school provides the community with exceptional facilities to house academic programs focused on preparing students for college and career readiness. The school has incorporated the ASPIRE enrichment block into the schedule to provide students with academic interventions, character education, and an opportunity to participate in the performing arts.
