Poetry Barn, a literary center in New York’s Hudson Valley, invites you to an exuberant reading followed by an ebullient open-mic!Â
Staged in conjunction with AWP, the largest literary conference in North America, the event showcases the best in contemporary poetry. Featured readers include Stacey Balkun, Nandini Dhar, Jennifer Givhan, Laura-Gray Street, Cindy Hochman, Alexandra van de Kamp, Heather Knox, Kim Peter Kovac, Karen Neuberg, Soraya Shalforoosh, and Susan Yount. Lissa Kiernan hosts.Â
Nestled in the Catskill mountains, stocked floor-to-ceiling with poetry, and offering workshops, craft talks, and book arts for all ages, Poetry Barn takes nature as inspiration and acts as a pollinator habitat for art.
