Description:

Politics & Prose at Busboys and Poets 14th & V welcomes Bill Ayers to present his new book "Demand the Impossible: A Radical Manifesto."

Radical transformation begins with a vision, Ayers asserts, and with the courage to believe that it is possible to change the world. A lifelong activist and teacher, now retired from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayers continue to speak out on behalf of the progressive agenda. Continuing the rousing call-to-action he’s sustained through the more than two dozen books on social transformation he’s written or edited, Ayers challenges all of us to speak out; as the nation prepares to elect a new president, our responsibility for fostering social justice is more urgent than ever.
