Busboys and Poets Books Presents GROWTH: THE ANSWER IS YOU

Join us to learn how to create a life full of impact which brings change in big and small ways in our communities.

Author Alex Amouyel in their new book invites and informs us that being a change agent starts with doing good deeds and being a community helper. Everyone has a unique set of skills and resources that can promote social impact positively. Deep inside every individual desires to add value and make a difference, either in their communities or change the world. Alex inspires people to think critically about the problems we face and the solutions we might be able to offer to enact change.

Alex Amouyel is joining on the virtual Busboys stage for a celebration event, joined in conversation by Dr. Qusai Hammouri. Copies of the book will be available for purchase before and during the event, so make sure to order your copy before we’re out of stock! Your purchase of the book includes shipping anywhere in the United States via USPS.

This event is free and open to all. Our program begins at 6:00 pm, and will be followed by an audience Q&A. Copies of THE ANSWER IS YOU will be available for purchase before and during the event. Please note that this event is VIRTUAL and will only be livestreamed.

We ask that guests RSVP in order to receive direct updates about the event from Busboys and Poets Books.

Alex Amouyel is the founding Executive Director of MIT Solve, an initiative supporting social innovators globally and with a mission to solve world challenges. Throughout her career at MIT, the Clinton Global Initiative, Save the Children, and more, she has met countless world leaders, CEOs, Heads of State, and Nobel Prize winners. And while these people all have a role to play in solving world challenges, it is a new generation of social entrepreneurs, activists, and changemakers who hold the most promise. Through this work, Alex has also found that like these problem-solvers, we all have a role to play in effecting change in big and small ways in our community, in taking action against injustice, and in living a life full of impact.
