Activism and Influence: A Conversation with Alyssa Milano and Ben Jealous
This Wednesday, October 20, from 6:30-8:30pm, we’ll be joined at 14th and V by actor, activist, and author Alyssa Milano as she shares her experiences and insights on the fight for the survival of our democracy and a better, more inclusive America.
Alyssa will be in DC to join a group of faith leaders, civic groups, and others who will be protesting at the White House and risking arrest to demand that President Joe Biden put his political capital and the influence of his office to work in the fight to protect voting rights.
Join Alyssa, along with Ben Jealous, civil rights leader and president of People For the American Way – one of the groups leading Tuesday’s action at the White House – for an exciting discussion about activism and influence.
