Rebirth of Me Esteem Building Author - Serwa Kenyetta

Serwa MKA Agyeman was born in Washington, DC. The third and youngest daughter of the late Frederick H. Williams Jr. and Mary Ellen Williams she and her sisters grew up in Washington, DC. Having a love for the arts, born to a Jazz enthusiast and a former dancer, Serwa Kenyetta would follow her mother's passion for dance and attend Duke Ellington School of the Arts as a dance, then theatre major. Exposure to the arts at an early age opened many creative doors to Serwa Kenyetta and she was fortunate to participate in and collaborate with many incredible artists. As legacy continues all three of her children are artist in their own right.

Embarking on this journey to document the challenges she experienced as she overcame a life changing event, she was motivated by her passion for paying it forward. Serwa Kenyetta knows that many women struggle with self-esteem and bearing her failures, challenges and triumphs would serve to be an inspiration to others. She believes that people often struggle thinking that they are the only one experiencing challenges or struggles; sometimes it is something as simple as knowing that there are others close to you that share your struggle, that you the encouragement to press on.

Serwa Kenyetta is committed to the youth, young women in particular; Rebirth of Me: Embracing the Journey is the beginning of a new a new chapter in her life; committed to the motivating and providing developmental tools to assist young women to become all that they desire to be. This year she founded Esteem NOW- Encouraging Sustained Transformation, Empowerment, and Excellence while Making a difference NOW!. Join her on Novemer 21st as she discuss her book and her journey.
