On Monday evenings throughout June 2020, join the John Mitchell, Jr. Program for History, Justice, and Race at George Mason University, Busboys and Poets, and the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project for virtual town hall discussions with authors, activists, and academics on pressing issues at the intersection of race, peace, and justice.
The fourth virtual town hall will feature a discussion with Rev. Canon Nontombi Naomi Tutu, who is the Canon Missioner for Racial and Economic Equity at the Cathedral of All Souls in Asheville, North Carolina, and the third child of Archbishop Desmond and Nomalizo Leah Tutu; and with Mungi Ngomane, who is the author of Everyday Ubuntu: Living Better Together, the African Way, and the Business Operations Manager at Outvote. She is also the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond and Nomalizo Leah Tutu.
