Description:

Molasses kills! This historical docudrama tells the story of the 1919 Boston Molasses Disaster and then some. 21 people died in Boston's North End when a giant tank of molasses burst on January 15th, sending the sweetness hurdling through the streets. Meet the victims and see how the events of that day live on in this play written by Robert Mearkle, the Washington-based author of the acclaimed novel The Feller from Fortune. The play is performed each January 15th and 2015 marks the first public performance. Sold out.To book an event at Busboys and Poets, please click here
