As BMMA, Inc. marks 10 years of establishing the global Black Maternal Health Movement, we are bringing that milestone to the policy table in Washington, D.C.

Rooted in Justice and Joy: Celebrating 10 Years of Black Maternal Health Policy is a side event kicking off the 2026 Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference. Co-hosted by Black Mamas Matter Alliance, In Our Own Voice, and the Center for Reproductive Rights, this mixer brings together state and federal policymakers, partner organizations, and stakeholders committed to advancing Black maternal health.

The evening features a panel with leaders from all three organizations, a fireside chat with state legislators, and remarks from members of Congress.

Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET
Location: Busboys and Poets, 450 K St NW, Washington, D.C. 20001
