A poetry slam is a high-energy, competitive event where poets perform original work and are judged by audience-selected judges. Poets bring the heat with powerful words, and the crowd helps decide the winner!

βœ… Poets must check in 30 minutes before the show for random slot selection.
βœ… All poems must be original works.
βœ… 3-minute 30-second time limit (with a 10-second grace period). Going over? Point deductions apply!
❌ No props, costumes, or musical instruments (including removing clothing).
❌ Poems must be performed solo.
πŸ“– Poets can read from paper or electronic devices (as long as they’re not used as props).
πŸ”₯ After Round 1, six competitors will be eliminated!
