Join us for a powerful report-back with Ann Wright, former U.S. Army colonel and diplomat turned prominent peace activist, who recently sailed with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition in its mission to break the blockade on Gaza.
Just days ago, Israeli forces violently intercepted the Freedom Flotilla vessel Madleen in international waters, abducting all 12 civilian passengers aboard—journalists, human rights advocates, and crew. Now, eight remain imprisoned in Israeli detention, despite the mission’s clear humanitarian purpose and its legality under international law.
Ann Wright will share firsthand insights into the mission, the legal and political aftermath, and the global response to this latest escalation in Israel’s criminalization of solidarity. Her report will also shed light on the broader struggle—including the detainment of over 10,400 Palestinians, more than 3,500 of whom are held without charge.
