The Beltway Poetry Slam Presents: Â The David VS Goliath Slam at Busboys and Poets Brookland!
Join us for this Specialty Summer Event, featuring an incredible battle of words, wits, and heart,
between the David Team – composed of both DC, Baltimore, & VA youth slam poets & students
– versus the Goliath Team – composed of DC, Baltimore, & VA adult mentors & slam poets.
This will prove to be an epic battle, as the youth would have just returned from the Brave New
Voices international youth poetry competition, and the adults prepare to embark for the
National Poetry Slam Festival in Oakland, CA.Â
