Busboys  and Poets and the DC Laborfest welcomes Joe Uehlein and Steve and Peter Jones to the Nicolás Guillén Room for this Live Music simulcast as part of the 2016 DC Laborfest.  Join Joe, Steve and Peter for an intimate and rousing evening of music, politics, and the human spirit. The show starts with a 1-hour set of live music and conversation as the local musicians sing songs and chat with Union City Radio’s Chris Garlock on WPFW’s Live@5 show, which will broadcast live from the Takoma Busboys, where you can enjoy the show and see live radio being made! Then from 6-8p, Joe, Peter and Steve will perform a rousing concert that’ll include Americana and roots-rock music, including folk, rock’n roll, bluegrass, country, soul, and more. All three are longtime activists, organizers and musicians, and their songs of work, hope, freedom and labor rights guarantee an inspirational evening for all.
