“Walls that Bleed†is a documentary film that chronicles the Civil Rights Movement in Greensboro, NC; the birth place of the world renowned non-violent “Sit-In Demonstrations†in 1960 and leads to the most successful student lead uprising in the history of the United States, better known as the Dudley-A&T Uprising of 1969. What started out as a simple Student Council election at James B. Dudley “all black†High School in 1969, quickly erupted into a three-day gun battle involving the African-American community defending themselves against local and national law enforcement. The purpose of this documentary is to fill in the missing pages of the Civil Rights Movement and recover the untold stories of unsung heroes and heroines that paved the way for future generations.Â
