A Secret Not Worth Keeping: Artists Speak Against Domestic Violence

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and The Northern Virginia Delta Education and Community Service (NVDECS) Foundation are hosting "A Secret Not Worth Keeping: Artists Speak Against Domestic Violence". This will be a night of inspiring spoken word poetry and music to promote domestic violence awareness and healthy relationships. The event will take place at Shirlington Busboys and Poets Tuesday, October 28, 2014 6:30-8:30 PM.

Admission is free. Toiletry donations for The Women's Group of Mount Vernon Inc., a local organization which provides services for domestic violence survivors, are welcome. Event tickets, via Eventbrite, will be available Tuesday, October 21 5:30 PM- Tuesday, October 28 5:30 PM or until the event is sold out. http://speakagainstdv.eventbrite.com
