Micha Kurz is co-founder and co-director of Grassroots Jerusalem. He previously co-founded the Israeli group, Breaking the Silence, and has worked with numerous Israeli human rights and political activist organizations, including the Israeli Committee Against Home Demolitions and Ta'avush.
Grassroots Jerusalem promotes community-based mobilization and advocacy, strengthens local capacity-building skills and resources for Palestinian Jerusalemites, and advocates for a just peace in the region.
Middle East Café is a Busboys and Poets program that offers an on-going series of events designed to bring together Arabs, Jews, and those interested in working toward a resolution to the conflict in the Middle East. The focus is on encouraging individuals from various backgrounds to share food and conversation.
