Description:

Busboys and Poets welcomes author Michael O Carter to discuss his book, Heroes With No Parade.  Understand why it is so hard for our Vietnam Veterans to be dads, get steady jobs, or simply have normal conversations. Years after the battle has concluded, the war continues in their minds.

"A must-read book for the real heroes who never returned.  For the most part of being in the military, it felt like I was sent to slaughter, but it was for the country.  The events that took place are all true, but I did have to tweak some stuff to protect the innocent.  Want to know how I survived from watching men burn to death to rescuing POWs and surviving choppers falling from the sky?"    - Michael O. Carter
