IRISH PUB is a documentary that celebrates the greatest
institution in Irish society, the pub or more specifically the
traditional Irish publicans who run them. The characters in this
exceptionally endearing film all run and own pubs that have been
in their families for generations and it is through their warmth,
wit and wisdom that we gain an insight into the heart and soul of
THE IRISH PUB.
Irish Popcorn! is Solas
Nua?s FREE contemporary Irish film screening series. Film
screenings are held every month on the last Monday of the month.
Solas Nua (which means new light in irish) is a 501(c)3
non-profit and the only contemporary Irish arts organization in
the united states. Based in Washington, DC our mission is to
bring the best new artistic talent from Ireland to audiences in
America.
