Description:

A Busboys and Poetry Event! For two hours, audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians, and a different host every week.

Tonight's host is Joseph LMS Green
Joseph LMS Green is a DMV based poet who has been writing, performing, and hosting for over 10 years. Joseph LMS began his career in the theatre and puts his years of performance training to good use every time he hits the stage. He has been a member of 5 National Poetry Slam teams including D.C?s own 2011 5th ranked Beltway Poetry Team. In the same year Joseph LMS placed 16th at the Individual World Poetry Slam. When not creating poetry or touring nationally, Joseph LMS is the Program Manager of the Northern VA based after school creative writing program poetryN.O.W. Expect to be moved, expect a packed house, expect the unexpected, but above all, come with an open mind and ear.

Wristbands are available for  purchase online  at midnight prior to the event, and on-site at the Busboys and Poets Book Store until sold out. Limit 4 wristbands per person. Sorry, no refunds.

Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. No saved or reserved seats are allowed. Failure to check in within 30 minutes of advertised start time may result in a forfeiture of seats.
