Description:

ZAMI and Q(weird)o present A live performance by Tha Nobodys followed by discussion

Join us for a hip hop performance followed by a discussion as Tha Nobodys tackle what it means to be genderqueer performers in hip hop and people of color in the queer community.

Watch a sneak peak of Tha Nobodys

Tha Nobodys are three queer DMV Rap Artists who came together through a project called New Word Leaderz. They perform individually and as a group.

They describe themselves saying: "In the industry people consider us Dominate Lesbian FEMALES Nobodys. So we just agree to disagree by calling ourselves just that... Plus it has a ring to it when we want to be Sarcastic saying "Nobody's Perfect" We are just letting people know out there that is ok being a Nobody to some as long as you are Somebody to Yourself... Hey being a Nobody is cool..."
