Poetry slam teams from 30 high schools in DC, MD, and VA come together to share their individual and group poems in this month-long festival celebrating the power of the written and spoken word.

$5 FOR PUBLIC, $FREE FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Louder Than a Bomb-DMV Teen Poetry Slam Festival is a joint venture between poetryN.O.W. and Split This Rock, with generous support from Busboys and Poets, George Washington University, and the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities. Part of the global Louder Than a Bomb network, LTAB-DMV is one of many regional LTAB?s across the world working with Young Chicago Authors to bring their successful after-school team poetry slam program to teenagers everywhere.
