The 2nd Annual DC Comedy Festival is a Wrap... But... We Have more Funny for you. Every month with Charity RIGHT HANDS FOR LEFT HEARTS.
The Festival will be highlighting the best Comedians from the Last two Festivals. A Comedian from the year before. A Comedian from this year's festival and a comedian from all the festivals. Comedians will perform 15min sets month. Highlighting their talents and skills. Come support artist and find your new favorite Comedian.

IVAN MARTIN
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, he brings characters to the stage that
present an outlook on the hardships of life from a gentleman’s perspective. Ivan’s comedy is realistically clever and honest but also focuses on his experiences throughout his child and young adulthood. Although he grew up in a house full of sisters, his upbringing is the reason for his “Gentleman Comedy”. Ivan started his comedy career in VA Beach while in the NAVY, after residing in Virginia he relocated to the City of Baltimore where he was quickly embraced by the comedy community. He begun to perform at Comedy Clubs and Colleges around the country, also is a frequent performer at the Virginia Beach Funny Bone Comedy Club and Cinema Cafe where he is known as a favorite. In Baltimore, he is known for being one of the most diverse comedians on the scene. Performing and writing various Sketches while entertaining crowds twice a month at his Art of Comedy Showcase (Platform Arts Center) which has been acknowledged by CBS.com 2015 - Best Places to see Stand up in Baltimore. When it comes to Professional and Funny, Ivan Martin is a sure thing. Will be featured on Comedy Central Hart of the CITY JUNE 28th
The Festival is meant to introduce the public to the comedy scene here in DC and give back to the Community that has given so much to us and our art form. We hold a public search prior to the Festival Year and find the top 100 Comedians, Improv Groups and Sketch Comedy Groups. Then invite them to come to the DC area and perform for the most deserving audience in the world. Going into the Second year we wanted to go a little bigger than the first Year. Working with venues from ALL over the DC area like, DC Drafthouse Comedy Theater, Miracle Theatre, DC Comedy Loft, and Dupont Underground just to name a few. No matter where you live in the DC area there will be a show near you. Make sure come out and witness the Biggest Comedy Festival in the DC area.

We are a safe place Non-Profit Organization gear towards impacting the Lives of our homeless youth in Prince George's County, MD. With our Love and Support, we will encourage our youth to take the proper steps to obtain their goals and becoming leaders in their communities.
