Description:

Sad to say goodbye to summer? Come laugh away your end-of-summer blues and prepare for Autumn at Jynx Comedy Night. Our high-powered, versatile, and often edgy comedians have performed at venues such as The DC Improv, Gotham Comedy Club (NYC), Magooby’s Joke House, and at festivals including The Chicago Women’s Funny Festival and The West Virginia Comedy Festival. With so much talent every month, you’re guaranteed to have a good time.

Jynx Comedy Night is brought to you by Busboys and Poets in coordination with Project Thalia, an organization that celebrates female artists and amplifies the voices of people who identify as women, women of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. This is a supportive and empowering event that fosters an atmosphere of caring, compassion, and kindness – where politics and art collide with intention and fun.

Our lineup, hosted by Sofia Javed (IG: @sofjaved), will include:

Elizabeth Cutler (IG: @ecuts824)
Yasmin Elhady (IG: @yasguru)
Yelena Kulick (IG: @madeleinebanks7)
Oona MacDougall (IG: @bigfootbjorge)
Shawnie Shawn (IG: @shawnieshawncomedy)
Kasha Patel (IG: @kashablanca)

Seating is first come first served. Full menu & bar will be available throughout the event.

$10 tickets available online! [full menu + bar available throughout the event]
