COME HEAR IT AT THE GRAPEVINE @ Busboys and Poets, Takoma SECOND WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 PM! Tim Livengood and Noa Baum host The Grapevine Spoken Word Series. Celebrate the timeless Art of Storytelling, with Truths, Folktales, Rumors, and everything in between! $15 Suggested Donation

This Month's Features: 

Tim Livengood is Hoosier by birth, Marylander by abode, and a storyteller by habit. He learned to tell stories the traditional way, listening to his father exaggerate. He has told stories at festivals, in homes, in schools, in parks, in planetariums, and at the summit of a volcano.

Minton Sparks is a performance artist and founder of the Nashville Writing and Performance Institute. She's been a part of the American Songbook Series at Lincoln Center, she has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and she is the featured teller at the 2019 National Storytelling Festival.

Celebrate the Timeless Art of Storytelling, with Truths, Folktales, Rumors, and everything in between. Traditional or True its up to you! Join us at our Open Mic and set your story free.
