POETRY ACROSS THE VEIL WITH ANNIE FINCH
Join poet, writer, and postmodern witch Annie Finch for a poetic invocation of Halloween. Commune with the spirits through chants and poems from Annie’s new collection The Poetry Witch Little Book of Spells, before we close with a ritual of remembrance for our own beloved dead.
Annie Finch is the author of six books of poetry, most recently Spells: New and Selected Poems, and many books about poetry including A Poet's Craft. Her book Among the Goddesses: An Epic Libretto in Seven Dreams focuses on the spiritual aspects of abortion. Annie’s poems have appeared onstage at Carnegie Hall and in the New York Times, Paris Review, and Penguin Book of Twentieth-Century American Poetry.
