Come join the DC Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers for our Annual Dinner and Discussion! If you want to learn more about the chapter's impact promoting STEM education in the DC community, this is an event you don't want to miss! And what better way to come together than to have dinner at one of the area's most iconic restaurant chains, Busboys and Poets! Cost is $45, but if you register as a member of the chapter before March 15, the cost drops to $30! The deadline to RSVP is March 15 at 11 pm. Please RSVP at http://connect.nsbedc.org/event-3302682.
NSBE DC Professionals was established in 1989 and officially chartered in 1990 with 20 members led by Harold Goodridge, its first president and a current member of the chapter today. The chapter has been active in the region for 29 years with a strong indelible legacy of excellence and dedication to our members and the community, and its objectives are to stimulate and develop student interest in STEM disciplines, increase and retain the number of minorities studying engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to promote public awareness of engineering and the opportunities for the black community.
