Description:

Capitol City Readers Theater is a platform for the discovery and presentation of local emerging playwrights and classical African-American writers.  Readings are presented every other month. 

April 2019's Grand Opening reading will feature:

- excerpts from Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When The Rainbow is Enough

- excerpt from Langston Hughes' Banquet of Honor

- excerpt from Restoration Stage Theatre Company
