Join EmpowerEd at the new Busboys and Poets in Anacostia for a celebration of teacher voice in DC. We'll be celebrating the educators of Ward 8 and teacher voice in DC education.

Rather than listen to teachers as partners on the path to educational equity, teachers voices were sidelined. In the last two years EmpowerEd has driven an education conversation that puts teacher voice front and center, organizing teachers to testify, research and propose and promote new policy.
