Description:

Join us for a much needed gathering and discussion on Saving DC’s History & Culture: From Chocolate City to #DontMuteDC

As Washington, DC has been experiencing rapid economic and population growth in recent years, the city’s history and culture have faced threats of displacement and erasure. Join arts and history advocates for a lively discussion of how the city has—and will continue—to ensure that DC’s unique history and culture will survive and thrive in the future.

This program is funded in part by the D.C. Commission on the Arts & Humanities, an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, and in partnership with Busboys and Poets.

NOTE: REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SEAT. SEATING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
