Hailing from North Carolina, Anthony D. Oakes is a District of Columbia resident who is taking comedy on the east coast by storm. His clean, yet edgy, southern, intellectual, witty humor will have you reeling with laughter. Performance cities include: Atlanta, New York, LA, Chicago, Virginia, Maryland, and DC. He has graced the stages of The Broadway, The Westside, and The Greenwich Village Comedy Clubs, in New York City. You can catch him locally at: The DC Drafthouse, The Bier Baron Comedy Loft, The Wonderland Ballroom, and Busboys and Poets. He also produces several comedy shows in the DMV area. Anthony currently host a radio show every Thursday at WLVS Radio called, Thursday Night Tea with Anthony, and can be found on all social media outlets

Franqi has quickly become a comic to watch. She has a way of perfectly balancing her surprisingly brash wit with a refreshing point of view. If you weren't at Caroline's on Broadway in NYC to catch Franqi French with DL Hughley, perhaps you caught one of her several appearances on TV One's "Roland Martin Show." A nationally appreciated talent, Franqi's coast to coast appearances include The DC Improv as well as The World Famous Comedy Store on Sunset Strip, Stand Up NY & DC Drafthouse. An award winning comic, Franqi has shared the stage w/ Todd Glass, Donnell Rawlings, Fortune Feimster, Judy Gold and more!!!

For two hours, audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians and a different host every week. Expect to be moved, expect a packed house, expect the unexpected, but above all come with an open mind and ear.
$5 Cover. No refunds. Ticket purchase limit of 4 per person. Guests must have their wristbands (tickets) on upon entering the event.
Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. No saved or reserved seats are allowed. Failure to check in within 30 minutes of advertised start time may result in a forfeiture of seats.
