FEATURING: DAPPHO - Poetry & SAGE - Pasties

About Dappho -

Dappho is a Renaissance Woman who can wear no less than five hats at once. Born on August 4th, this native Washingtonian is a bassist, poet, educator, producer, composer, host, audio engineer, promoter, and model. Dappho can incite the subtlety of SZA and still pack the vocal punch of Anderson Paak. As the founding member of a public charter school, Dappho is a devoted urban flower child – a kindred spirit to bohemians and entrepreneurs alike. Her musical influences include Daniel Caesar, N.E.R.D., The Police, Kid Cudi, Thundercat, and Me’Shell N’Degeocello, to name a few.

About Sage -

Sage is a DC-based burlesque and drag performer with four years of exotic dance experience. Her goal as an entertainer is to always create a magical and engaging performances that make viewers feel comfortable with being their authentic selves and living out the fantasies they may not get to explore due to societal restrictions. She's into all things weird and extravagant.

ABOUT OUR HOST JENNIFER EDEN

Jennifer Eden is a poet, sex educator, event curator, and host from Baltimore who recently relocated to Philly to start over. Her work centers her identity as a Black queer femme and highlights the complexities of being a survivor, overcoming mental health hurdles, and healing from family and social traumas. She believes that gender is a social construct, that writing connects us to our ancestors and descendants, and that sex is a lot of fun! She produces burlesque and variety shows with The Haux Hive and loves a good, cheap white wine.
