Project Turquoise is a community-based initiative to empower women, children, and families affected by conflict. Last June, 14 members of the youth committee traveled to Camp Zaatari, in Jordan, where they met some of the Syrian kids who fled the war and now reside in Jordan. During this event, the Youth Committee members will play a documentary which describes their experience at Zaatari as well as the stories, hopes, and dreams of some of the Syrian kids living there. After, there will be a panel discussion during which the Youth Committee members will share about their experience at the camp as well as the bonds and friendships they formed while there. We very much hope that you can join us for this event, and if not, please consider making a small donation to help Project Turquoise continue the great work that it is doing.
We will start promptly at 5:00 PM. We hope you will be able to join us!
