Please join us as Felicia Kornbluh and Gwendolyn Mink will discuss their new book, Ensuring Poverty: Welfare Reform in Feminist Perspective with Heidi Hartmann, president and founder of the Institute for Women’s Policy Research. General discussion with audience of welfare reform, the future of the safety net, and the critical importance of intersectional feminism in understanding and strategizing these issues.

About the Author:

Felicia Kornbluh and Gwendolyn Mink are the authors of Ensuring Poverty: Welfare Reform in Feminist Perspective (University of Pennsylvania Press, Fall 2018). Kornbluh teaches history and gender studies at the University of Vermont. Mink is an independent scholar and chair of the Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation for Low Income Women and Children.
