Join Busboys and Poets Books and PEN America as we welcome Clint Smith, Lauren-Brooke Eisen, Marc Mauer, and Paul Butler to 14th and V to discuss their books and race, class, and the criminal justice system. This event will be co-sponsored by the Free Minds Book Club, an organization that uses books, creative writing, and peer support to awaken DC youth incarcerated as adults to their own potential.
